Our Story…

We are excited to share the story of the Play2Festival Guitar Festival in Armenia.

As a joint project envisioned by Mark, Chris and Meghedy, our mission is to expand the guitar landscape in a nation renowned for its rich musical heritage. Armenia, traditionally focused on classical instruments, is filled with immense talent.

Our journey began with a decade-long collaboration with Hakob Jaghatspanyan, a distinguished guitar professor at the Yerevan Conservatoire. Initially launched in Yerevan, the festival is rapidly expanding to various towns and villages, especially in remote border areas that have faced challenges in recent years.

By tapping into Armenia's musical strengths and fostering international collaborations, we aim to nurture the next generation of guitarists and establish Armenia as a hub for regional guitar enthusiasts.
